“We need women’s leadership now more than ever.”
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton talked about the importance of our work at the opening festival for the Vital Voices Global Headquarters for Women’s Leadership, noting that the physical presence of Vital Voices in the U.S. capital could not come at a more critical time.
The new Global Headquarters for Women’s Leadership will be a hub of innovation, a platform for collaboration, and an inclusive space for all women, everywhere. At its three-day inaugural festival, this first global embassy for women welcomed women leaders, allies, and partners – as Secretary Clinton put it – “from every walk of life, across the world.”
In order to open its doors even wider, the building’s “digital twin” mirrors our in-person programming, allowing women and allies around the globe to join our conversations. If you missed any of our festival panels as they happened, you can watch the recordings of the most powerful discussions – covering topics like women’s empowerment, bridging divides across the political aisle, Black maternal health, and more – on our website. You can also learn more about upcoming programs, future events, and the latest news from Vital Voices by joining our email list.
Secretary Clinton noted that the world has always needed women to lead us toward a brighter future. Now, at the Vital Voices Global Headquarters for Women’s Leadership, they have a place to come together, take power, and take action – a place where, together, we can build a better world.
