Pukhraj Ranjan, founder and CEO of Moi Namaste, is driving change in the fashion industry through ethical design. A dual, for-purpose business model, Moi Namaste offers ethically created, artisanal fashion and lifestyle products through their brand website for global consumers. Simultaneously, Moi Namaste is helping independent designers and businesses establish a sustainable and transparent supply chain in India, from production to distribution, working with the artisan community for their designs.

An Indian educator-turned-entrepreneur with over a decade’s worth of experience in the development sector, Pukhraj is determined to create wealth and well-being opportunities for Indian artisans, especially women, through livelihood generation and global market access. Co-creation, community empowerment, and care are at the center of her work. Pukhraj is a cheerleader for women-owned companies and is committed to fighting for the dignity and living wages or marginalized people worldwide.

She was recognized as one of the Global Emerging Leaders at the World Innovation Summit for Education in 2019 by the Qatar Foundation and selected as a 2022 Break Fellow in an incubator funded by the European Union and designed by Escuela de Organización Industrial EOI School.
